Since 2007 · Platforms for science and organizations
SciSerTec builds specialized platforms, SaaS systems, and custom software solutions for scientific, organizational, and event-related workflows.
We combine product thinking, software engineering, and robust architecture. Our systems are designed for maintainability, extensibility, and operational stability.
Active in real-world projects with continuous platform evolution.
Reusable architecture instead of isolated one-off implementations.
Strong domain context in scientific and organizational process landscapes.
Architecture decisions account for reliability, governance, and long-term change.
Digital solutions for scientific events, submissions, reviews, and organizational workflows.
Tailored systems for complex processes with clear technical structure.
From product idea to viable platform with focus on usability and operations.
Scalable, secure, and modular infrastructure as the technical foundation.
Platform thinking over throwaway software.
Systems designed as long-lived foundations. vCongress has been in continuous evolution since 2010 and runs today on seven modules and around forty capabilities that are switched on per event and licensed per organisation — extended by configuration, not by forking a copy for each customer.
Explicit domain boundaries and stable interfaces. Every component in our platforms follows one layering rule — boundary, control, entity — so a developer joining a codebase finds the same shape in every module, and a capability can move between products without dragging its surroundings along.
Security and reliability are decided before launch, not after an incident: EU hosting in Frankfurt, continuous point-in-time backups, passkey-capable sign-in, optional single sign-on against the customer's own directory, and infrastructure defined as reviewable code.
We publish the full price list of our own SaaS product — the only vendor in its German market to do so — and an automated test holds the published numbers to the ones the invoices are generated from. We work the same way on client projects: the numbers and the architecture are open to inspection.
How we work
We map real operational workflows and define concrete business constraints.
We translate requirements into modular architecture and implementation boundaries.
We implement in focused increments with measurable outcomes.
We support stable operations and guide long-term platform development.
If you are building a platform or software solution with a long-term perspective, we can discuss goals, architecture, and implementation.
